But it is true. Risks and relationships is a part of life. The common definition of risk is: the degree of probability of such loss. It's hard to believe that something that could be so negative be apart of a relationship. At least you found out who the girl was that inconveniently called at 1:30am and that there is nothing to worry about. If you can't tell him everything that you are pouring out into these great posts you should have him sit down with you and let him read all the posts. And see his initial reaction to all of your feelings that you open up publicly, but not alone to the one you care about.
