I HATE MEN – 100,000 members strong

Why are men so cheap?? Maybe its just me but every guy I have EVER dated or known has been one cheap a** mofo. Whatever happened to chivilry? They will spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on stupid shit but when it comes time to treat their girlfriend or wife to something, suddenly she’s the high maintenance bitch. I consider myself as low maintenance as they come…..here’s a thought, maybe if I acted like a high maintenance bitch, I’d be treated better. I don’t know….men, can’t live with em, can’t kill em.

This being six days prior to Christmas, I actually had a guy ask me today “when is Christmas anyway?” At this time of year, I don’t know about anyone else but every other thought is about Christmas. Cards not written, cookies not baked, presents not wrapped, presents not BOUGHT, dinner plans not made, the eternal “who am I forgetting”….It doesn’t end for women. So why do men get off so scott free during the holiday season? Any enlightening suggestions??

In all my years of dating hell, not once have I found a man that is willing to give of himself for ANYONE, let alone his woman.

I’m a self-reliant, self-sufficient woman that really doesn’t NEED a man to take care of her. All I desire is a companion, a best friend, someone who is there to laugh with me when I’m happy and be a strong shoulder to cry on when I need one. But all I seem to find are men who want ME to take care of THEM – emotionally, financially and in every other way.

When did the tides turn? When did this paradoxical shift in the way things should be happen? When did women take ALL the responsibility for running a household? When did it become ok for men to sit around all day, doing nothing, paying for nothing, eating everything in site and giving absolutely nothing in return? It bothers me to the point that I get sick to my stomach every time I think about it.

It seems there is a direct correlation between how successful a woman is and how lazy her man is. The more successful and capable a woman is in a relationship/household etc. the more the man sees an opportunity to sit on his ass and do nothing.

Granted there are the few exceptions, and I mean FEW, where the household bills, chores, etc. are divided up SEMI equally between man and woman. But from my own experiences, I have only been privy to men who suck me dry emotionally and financially.

Guys, when you work 40 hours a week, are you expected to come home, take care of childrens needs like sports, homework, social issues, need for money and the hundreds of other things kids need? Are you expected to make supper, do wash, clean the house, shovel the snow, pull weeds, keep everything tidy and of course do it with a smile?

HELL NO!!

Well then may I ask why are women expected to do this when they work full-time? The expectations, pressures and responsibility leveled on todays working mother is overwhelming to say the least.Relationships should be 50/50 but rarely are.
