About ‘I hate men’

In today’s society with technology at the tips of our fingers, we turn to the internet for just about everything…even when we are hating men.

Did you know that “i hate men” is typed into Google 5,400 times a month, and “hate men” is typed in 18,100 times a month…that is a lot of hating going on there.

In my mind the people typing this into Google are upset, angry, hurt…the list of emotions goes on…but needless to say if you are using the word “hate” it can not be good. I am not quite sure what people are expecting to find when they type in “i hate men”, but I knew that if I had any control over what they saw, I would not want these people to fall deeper into the hole of negativity. They are already upset, and angry…maybe feeling remorse, disappointment, or disgust. So instead of them finding a man hating site that wants to turn them in to just that, I wanted them to find ihatemen.org, and have it open their eyes to a lot. I wanted it to encourage women to be independent, to help them overcome bad relationships, and to understand that they need to find happiness within before they can find happiness with anyone else.

I want women to come to the site and be able to laugh, smile, and find that there are a lot of women in this world that face the same issues, and they have overcome these obstacles. I wanted this to be a place to share experiences, tears and heartache…but above all I wanted the visitors to leave the site thinking more positively.

This site has been created with the intention of providing a forum where women (or opinionated men) can voice their opinions, experiences, frustrations and observations about the opposite sex.
