Why do feminists get so much hostility

Feminists have always been disliked, by many people, everywhere. As long as they have been around, on the internet and in real life. The people who dislike feminists will talk all kinds of crap about them (and women), but usually when they are called out on it, they will respond with “I don’t hate women!!!111 I luv the LADIES.” or “u no understod me, I ain’t mad about nothin!”. In terms of why, I have no idea. Maybe there are some people who still believe that women should just shut up, look pretty, and do nothing but dishes and laundry all day.
I am sure that has nothing to do with your hateful rethoric, or your methods of communication, or the unfair laws feminists have been pushing for. Or the teeny tiny facts, that your stated goal is a sham, because in the eyes of the law you are more then equal, and that most feminist come from the most privileged people on this planet. White girls living in western countries.
