Can males be feminists?

In addition, can males care about the oppression of females and males simultaneously? Does feminism ever harm males, intentionally or not?

Yes, a feminist is someone who believes that men and women should have equal rights. Some people have the misconception that a feminist is a woman with strong opinions about her gender. *shrug* I don’t see how feminism would harm males in any way…

Thats just the public relations text so people don`t see them as what they are. And feminism doesnt just harm males, it harms women and children a lot. Especially children, who are usually the collateral demage of feminist social engeneering that destroys families and made husbands optional, little more then sperm banks and wallets to use.

Muzolf regardless of your opinion on the matter, fact is that feminism is defined as “the theory of political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.”

How exactly does asking for equality in the sexes hurt anybody?

If anything it’s your view that every woman here thinks men are useless wastes of skin that is the toxic perspective. If you advocate so much against women judging men, the logical first step would be to stop judging women for the sake of avoiding hypocrisy.

And husbands are optional. I’m going to marry my future WIFE one day. And I’m sure many men out there will marry their future husbands. Even saying mothers can’t use sperm banks to have children because they don’t have a spouse or their spouse is impotent is ridiculous. Your grounds are because we see men as just sperm and wallets to use. Would you ridicule a man if he wanted to be a stay at home dad while his wife earned the family living? Or would you ridicule a man that adopted a child because he doesn’t have a spouse to have one with? I highly doubt you would.

What each family decides about guardians for children is their own business and as long as the child isn’t neglected it shouldn’t matter to you whether it’s a man and woman, a single woman, two men, or whatever else. Just because a family is unique does not mean it’s destroyed. This narrow view is why we disrespect your opinion. Not simply because you are male.

Show some respect for us and we will return the favour. At least I know I will.

    To Muzolf

HOW. DOES. “Especially children, who are usually the collateral demage of feminist social engeneering that destroys families and made husbands optional, little more then sperm banks and wallets to use” WHAT? Wtf are you talking about?

  5. Muzolf says:

Because thats a lie. I am all for equality. Feminists are not. They whnat equality with men only when thats a field where they are disadvantaged. As soon as there is advantage to be had for being a female, they grab it. In fact, they constantly tryo and expand traditional female privilege by promoting perpetual victimhood, and demonising men as being responsible for every single problem that exists.

I am talking about the ugly face of feminism that comes up in the lopsided domestic violence laws, corrupt family courts, divorce proceeding, false rape cases, and a ziollon other problems that feminists try to obscure if it hits males, and magnyfing when it hits women.

Fact is, if one looks at their actions, feminism is an idology of hatred, and is as far from promoting equality between the sexes as it gets.

If you were really for equality, you would never describe yourself with an exlusive word in the first place. People who really want equality and prosperity for all, are calling themselves humanists.

Muzolf those people you mention are no longer feminists if they don’t want equality among the sexes. Any power imbalance is seen as bad in the eyes of feminists. It’s laughable to me that you claim to want equality when you spend a lot of your time posting callous and insensitive replies to a lot of the posts here and claiming that women here are stupid/skanky/ignorant. And we demonize men for every problem? Ha! You say that after claiming that women rallying for equality ruin families and children and later claiming women are so damn selfish that they will camouflage male problems with their own. If you’re an egalitarian then hell must have frozen over. >_>

If YOU were really an egalitarian you wouldn’t care what bloody word people use. You’d care about the people behind it. Feminist, humanist, what the hell does it matter? They’re defined as almost the exact same thing. The fact that you’re trying to make us feel guilty for using a word to define ourselves just shows how pathetically shallow your argument actually is.

I know this is old, so it probably wont get an answer, but still.

Simply put, thats what feminists say they are, but the actions of the majority (or at least the ones with actual political impact.) tells us a different story.

I judge them by their actions, not their words. (Actually, their words betray their hatred too.) And those actions make it clear that feminism, is a hate movement not unlike the KKK or the nationalsocialist pary of germany in the 1930-s.
