How men make us dislike ourselves
Why cant men cope with the fact that women have their periods?! I mean its so natural.
The way they response with :”Anything that bleeds for a week and still lives is not to be trusted” or whatever is so immature. Their response to women having periods makes women think of their periods as something drity, disgusting, shameful or “bad”. Mens Reaction toward women having their period is everywhere. For example the media. When a women a movie has her periods she turns into this monster and just burns and kills everything in her path. Or she becomes annoying and moans around all day long. Its just terrible that this view is in everyones brains. Women acutally believe in this picture too. Men find is scary that a woman bleeds and feels pain and thats not how the imagine a “woman” to be. You know those women that get delivered by the media make men curious. And in those pretty pictures you wouldnt guess that once a month they’re sitting around in their pyjamas, having stomache aches and constantly bleeding.
Do you know the phrase that a real friend stays “for better or worse”. Like even when “the going gets tough”? But I feel like most men can’t do that when it comes to periods. My boyfriend can cope with it and I’m so glad 
but most of them just react so immature! Its makes women feel so strange about themselves and thats just terrible!

but why fear something so natural. I never hear anyone say “omg penises and stuff like that are so scary I would be so scared if i ever got to see one”. Your right! You fear them, other people fear them, everyone fears them!! But i dont think thats supposed to be.
And yes.. maybe its not all the mens fault that so many people view periods in such an immature way.
Ironically the only people I’ve ever heard of that made fun of periods,pads, etc. and acted as though periods were “unnatural” and “disgusting” were females. I’ve personally never heard a guy talk about periods in a casual conversation unless he was just talking about the fact that he wouldn’t want to have sex with a girl during that time.

Agreed, my best friend is having that exact issue right now with a young teen girl so I can speak from experience. This is what she finally told her…
Deal with it! Stop talking about it as if you are the only one in the world that has it…. stop thinking its gross….stop playing the victim and wanting to be pampered for a week. Its natural, its part of growing up and you have it for the next 35+ yrs. Welcome to womanhood.
