Generalizations
Considering I am a man on a site named “Ihatemen” I was not expecting such a warm welcome :L
I have not come here to defend my sex, in fact, I do realize that infact quite a large majority of men are like those you describe. I believe that violence towards women, in terms of rape and oppression in the workplace, is a major world problem and one which should not exist in a “Developed” society.
Whether it is “In our Nature” or not is debatable, as both men and women have primal urges. Perhaps men require more self control and self discipline to control these urges, which can be the distinction between a “good guy” and a “chimp.” I realize that a lot of these posts are written in the fallout of relationships, by women who have been horribly hurt by men. However I still find that statements like “NO men can love” or “MEN HAVE NO FEELINGS WHATSOEVER” to be a little to generalized and slightly offensive, but I can understand how these feelings arise.

MEN HAVE NO FEELINGS WHATSOEVER
This is false. Men have many feelings, mostly below the belt.

Men have Feelings. I can tell you how it feels like when you find out your gf is cheating on you. Men have feelings of vulnerability and weakness, they just have been socialised to hide them. Perhaps this is the reason men are 4 times as likely to commit suicide than women. Men not in touch with their feelings will abuse their Girlfriends or spouses. It’s sad but true. The only sense of security these men feel is lashing out on their girlfriends and Spouses. Let’s not go into the programming men have to be ‘players’ and cheat on their wives/gfs. Although both do it in reality, men need to relearn what it means to commit. We need to stop turning men into horrid offenders and find out what really is going on inside a guy’s head. And often times you’ll find an insecure child neglected by his mother or abused in the past, turning into control freaks or whinny men incapable of protecting and providing affection and security to their wives/spouses.

And if that was true, we would still be better off as someone whos sole feelings are hate, bitterness and utter contempt for people she doesnt even knows.

We only know you all too well. All men behave exactly the same way. Even by their own admission, when questioned, admit that they are all horny most of the time and all admit (brag) that they watch porn and gawk at girls and then they try to blame their disgusting behavior on it being just a guy thing and all guys do it, without exception. Your own gender insists that “all guys do it”. Well, I can imagine the 90 year old in a nursing home who doesn’t know how to use a computer or can’t see might be the exception, however, I bet he was even a scumbag in his younger years.
