Thats Bullshit

So I’ve always had this issue ever since I was a little girl with the inequalities amoungst women and men. Once I took Sociology in my freshman year of college, my hate for men increased by a longshot. The funny thing is, I have a boyfriend, and I love him very much. But after realizing all the little things he does that signify things beyond simple acts, we cant stop arguing and fighting about the littlest things because i am such a feminist. First off, my problem is that men get to intiate and terminate sex. Thats complete bullshit. We cant have sex if his penis isnt erect, and we cant continue once he blows. Thats bullshit, thank god for my dildo. Second, women are so concerned about others for example their man. I can go to the store and buy something for myself but ill call my man to ask if he needs anything. Would he do that for me? Hell no. If its not food for me to cook for him, hes not interested and thats so unfair. I give so much of myself out of kindess and dont get half of that in return. Third, this double standard thing drives me fucking nuts. The fact that men who sleep with a whole bunch of women are praised, yet women who are just as premiscuous as those men are looked down upon. People always say “oh its because a key that opens a whole buncha locks is the master key, and a lock that opens to a bunch of keys is a shitty lock” Well that may hold true for OBJECTS. Why does that have to apply to human beings? What the fuck is that? And another thing. Im not saying teen girls should be having sex, but why should a teen girl of appropriate age be looked down upon for acting on her urges to have sex and a teen boy is seen as freakin king of highschool? why do we encourage young boys sex is a good thing, and sex is dirty and a guilty thing for girls do to. Thats BULLSHIT.
Thats all for now, im already pissed. ♥

I completely agree with you, most people don’t notice the tiny things and the knowledge you’ve received from your sociology course has opened your eyes. Its liberating to know that other girls have the same feeling towards their men, like i do. I want to strangle him!

Men are low creatures. Horrible, filthy slobs whose lives revolve around
that one act. On top of this, society has evolved into a war on the
senses, and they are losing. The availability of visual stimulation is
overwhelming, and not one of them has the will power to overcome it.
Even men of the cloth, sworn to celibacy (a display of their blind
allegiance to a god they have and will never meet) can’t resist. And so
they slink into their bedrooms to find that 7 minutes of privacy to feed
the need. I wanted to know exactly what a Fleshlight is so I searched
for videos online. It was…upsetting. Not the fact that they were doing
it, but because they needed to. Its basically a gross imitation of a
vagina. An artificial whole to stick themselves into because there are
women out there that know better than to touch them. There were men
holding these ugly things in their sweaty fists, pumping away at
themselves as if it felt like the real thing. One man had set up a fuck
machine but instead of a dildo on the end there was a Fleshlight. And he
just sat there, camera aimed at his unkempt crotch, black, faded
T-shirt still on, legs spread wide, with this ugly thing sliding all
over his sex. And what am I 90% sure he was thinking about? A real,
flesh and blood woman. One who actually likes him for some reason, who
wanted him inside her because she at least thought he was attractive or
funny or maybe even sweet. Disgusting. But then one might say, “What
about women using dildos? It’s the same thing!”. I’m not sure this is
true. Yes, maybe I’m just biased because I’m a woman. When women do it,
it’s seen as sexy. Some do it because the thought of regretting sex with
a man is too much to bear.

That’s what it boils down to- men see women as OBJECTS

You’re right about everything! The double standards, also that men seem to think that a sexual act begins with THEIR erection and ends with THEIR ejaculation, that everything in sex revolves around THEIR sexual desires. I’m sure you have learned a lot about people and the interactions between them from your sociology class and about all these things many women don’t normally consider, but are nevertheless affected by them!

There’s plenty of biased research studies out there that provide little, to no evidence just to prove a biased claim. There’s a lot of studies that try their damn hardest to devalue the opposite gender but there is usually insufficient eveidence to prove it. Good news for all of us, especially women. Since women seem to be at the centre of these studie’s ridicule. Steer clear of shit like that.

    P.S
I hate that saying. The one about the shitty lock. It’s just a way of justifying one’s behaviour over the other. But even though I have heard this saying before, and there’s no doubt that some jackasses use it, I don’t actually hear this saying all that often. A lot of guys don’t talk like that, just a small minority of jackasses do.

You’re definitely biased, yes. There’s a growing number of women claiming sex addiction. I don’t know what you think about that. Also, that Kelly/Lloyd guy had a point about female sexuality. Women are very sexual, especially now that they have the freedome to express it. There’s sex shops dedicated to women only for example. Granted, there’s not as many as male sex shops, but it’s a mark for women everywhere that they have the freedome to express sexuality and pleasure. I think this is a good thing. A lot of young women are exploring bi sexuality too.

On a side note, that fleshlight thing does sound gross. And no, I had never heard of one till you informed me with your post. Now I wish you hadn’t……
