You aren’t a male pig. Sex is different for women than it is for men, and if more people understood this, we’d do a much better job of treating each other decently.

The reason men focus so much on sex, is not JUST because it’s fun and because you have a lot of testosterone, but because for you it IS intimacy. it is how you feel close to a woman, how you share your feelings with her. In a nutshell, it is a man’s way of “talking”. Men in sexless marriages often feel used, unappreciated, unloved and very hurt.

Women’s intimacy needs are different. For us, intimacy is TALKING verbally and sharing feelings with you. Once we feel emotionally connected with you , we desire physical contact with you. Sex comes after emotional intimacy for us, while with men sex IS intimacy.

So, sex will alway’s be important to you, and you should never feel ashamed of that. Too many men are made to feel exactly as you describe, a male pig. It’s not true.

What you DO with your sexuality and your desire is what will define you, NOT how you feel.

I would recommend reading a few books. “The male brain”, “The Female brain” and “Bedroom diaries”. Get your GF to read them too. Women don’t often understand how sex makes a man feel, or why it’s important to you, and why women who love men should instigate sex more. It isn’t that we don’t want sex, just that we don’t think to instigate it as much as you do.

Good luck, and I’m glad you recognize how important and intimate sex really is, instead of just giving in to your sexual urges and sleep around with all and sundry.
