I HATE MEN

I’ve been going to college for the past year. First semester, I met a guy. We were attracted to one another, but in the end, it didn’t work out. We stayed friends though. We became close, and we see each other most weekends, or weeknights. We talk about everything and we’re really close. I’ve been busy lately because I changed programs, I have to see my boyfriend, or family gatherings to attend, and we haven’t been meeting like we usually do.

Recently, he’s been giving me the cold shoulder. He’s been shrugging me off or ignoring my presence.  But there was this one day that I tried to talk to him, and he told me that he hated girls. He didn’t give a reason. But he still hangs out with other girls apart from me.

I’m confused about this.  What’s happening to us? He’s my friend. I care about our friendship, but he seems so indifferent. It’s as if he doesn’t care if I’m around or not. And frankly, it really hurts to be ignored by someone I thought cared about me…
