So my wonderful girlfriend called me yesterday after she had gone to see a movie with her friends. So I answer, “Hi, blah, blah, How was the movie?”, to which she replied, “It was pretty good, blah, blah.” So all is going good. Then she mentions how she doesn’t have any classes tomorrow (college), to which I say, “Oh, that’s cool, so what are you going to do?”. She says, “Oh, I don’t know, probably nothing.” Then something else was talked about, who knows, then she says in a totally sweet voice, “Ok, I guess I’ll give you a call later on tonight.” So I’m all like, “Alright babe, give me a call then.”, to which she replies in a tone similar to how Vincent D’onofrio sounded in The Cell, “Yup”. So, of course in my mind I’m like, “Ohhhh here we f*cking go, what just happened?” So I pause my game and give my full attention to try to figure out what is going on here. Well apparantly I was supposed to invite her down to my place. See I did the math, and when she said that she didn’t have classes tomorrow, that was my cue to invite her down to stay at my place. Well excuse me all to hell, but I figured that her being an adult and us being together for a few years now she could just speak up and say she’d like to come down.
I called her out on her little setup, and then she got all pissy, “I wasn’t setting you up, when I said that you have thought to invite me down right away.”
Long story short, I didn’t even feel like hanging out with her after her ridiculous mind game.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case, bitches be crazy.
p.s. No I do not refer to woman as “bitches”. It just sounded funny for this post. So don’t get any crazy ideas “peniseslasher”.

If you want to establish dominant and subordinate roles, you are in for a huge slap in the face if she starts communicating with you in “I” instead of “we.”

Maybe she didn’t feel comfortable inviting herself over. Sometimes I want to see a guy, but I don’t want to put him on the spot and make him feel weird if he’s not up to hanging out (or worse, him say yes to hanging out because he feels like he has to).
Her reaction is weird, but I understand why she didn’t just ask to come over. I never invite myself places. A lot of times I do let the other person know I’m free so it’s up to them. I don’t ask people if I can come over because then they’re in the awkward position of telling me no if they don’t feel like it (or worse just hanging out because they feel obligated).
