The Miracles of Love
Love can be embraced, dull, blind, beautiful, scary…etc
…love can also make miracles happen
I was reading a story about a man and woman preparing for their wedding. As the woman was 4-months away from her wedding frantically making all preparations she passed a store window that had Christian Dior glasses on display. She had to have them. As time got closer to the wedding she noticed the glasses fitting closer to her right eye, in fact her eyelashes were hitting. Both her and her husband were so wrapped up in wedding plans that she held off going to the eye doctor, until her right eye became excruciatingly itchy and bothersome.
Diane went to the ophthalmologist and within minutes of the visit it was obvious there was growing concern regarding her health. She was told an MRI was needed and that a tumor could possibly be pushing her eye forward. Later Peter (husband-to-be) and Diane found out that it was a benign tumor that needed to be removed ASAP. Diane’s eye was protruding further out and that explained why her Dior glasses were not fitting correctly. Peter and Diane are and were so in love that it was never evident that anything was physically changing.
Read the complete story
Did Diane’s wedding distraction pull her through this horrific experience? Was it Peter? Was it a miracle? Whatever it was, I wish everyone is as lucky as she was and pulls through all of the hardships that people face everyday.

Two things. If she wasn’t so busy planning and obsessing over a wedding perhaps she would have sought medical attention sooner.
This tumor surgery was especially disturbing to her because it jeopardized the wedding. If she wasn’t getting married this tumor thing would have been no big deal. lol
I don’t think this story, or how she got through it, was a miracle at all. It was science. It’s not uncommon for ppl to distract themselves from health problems and surgery. I would think that this is her comical light-hearted take on what happened to her. Which is also common for ppl. And it’s good! Distracting and humor can help ppl stay positive and positive helps aid in ppl coping and a speedy recovery. While this is a wonderful story sharing her fears and hope it’s not a miracle. Just common sense.
